Stacy desperately wants to come out and play.

But the schedule doesn't allow any time in my day.

There's schoolwork, errands, and landscaping galore.

Not to mention all my glamorous domestic chores.

Please forgive my absence.

I'll be back in June.

I can't wait to catch up with everyone!

See you real soon!!!!!

I was glad to see this post today! I was a little worried about you and didn't want you to quit blogging for good. I have missed your funny tales and pictures of the boys. :)

I agree with the girls. I too have been worried and missed the daily dose of humor and fun updates of the kiddos. Thanks for touching base...and of course, thanks for doing it with a funny pic. :)
I'm not a mom, but mimosas I would guess are a good way for teachers to get through the end of year mornings.

I was talking to one of the ER docs about The Bronze Horseman the other day - she told me it sounded like a great book. (She promised me she would buy it and read it.)

Then, she recommended The Pillars of the Earth to me - I am about 3/4 the way through. It is almost as good as TBH, but not quite. It is an epic tale - it is meaty and not a "light" read. It takes place in the 1100's and it is full of barbaric history, suffering, poverty, war, love, lust, and everything in between.

If you think you would like to read it, I would be tickled to pass it along to you!

I know, in my heart of hearts, every other book I ever read will pale in comparison to TBH. :)

Oh, I did read Pillars of the Earth (all 12000 pages- LOL!) I really, really liked it! I also read the 2nd installment (Ends of the World- I think) but I didn't really care for that one much. It didn't continue with any of the same characters. It was like 200 years later or something. Your welcome to read my copy if your interested.
But honestly, I too know that nothing I ever read will equal to BH. 100's of years from now, I think people will still be talking about how wonderful that book is!...sigh. :)
